DESS® Pre-milled Abutment Blanks

These blanks, available in Titanium or CrCo, are compatible with most implant platforms and come with a unique holder system for machines like Imes-Icore®, VHF®, ZirconZahn®, Yenadent®, and any device with standard 98mm holders.The connection between the abutment and the implant is a crucial aspect of implant prosthetics, impacting biomechanical strength and treatment longevity. This new Pre-milled Blank system enables customized abutment milling in-house, all while ensuring DESS®’s quality and precision in connection and screw seating.
The Pre-milled Blanks are crafted from Titanium Grade 5 ELI and the exclusive Micro Melt Cobalt-Chrome (CrCo) alloy, which offers several advantages over other options:
- It maintains its designed shape with no internal tension, reducing the risk of ceramic cracks
- The alloy is easier to mill and is gentler on your tools
- Its precise thermal expansion coefficient facilitates the ceramic process
These individual blanks are secured to the holder using a “pull down and lock” system, which saves time and guarantees maximum precision and stability during the milling process.
Features and benefits:
- A total millable length of 20 mm.
- Titanium blanks with diameters of ø10 mm and ø 14 mm, and CrCo blanks with a diameter of 14 ø mm.
- A minimal 0.3 mm gingival transition, allowing for design flexibility
- A quick “screw-on” holder system that expedites the replacement of blanks and reduces processing time
- DESS® Pre-milled abutments are integrated into Hyperdent and WorkNC software, further enhancing their usability and compatibility
