NK-Optik Otoflash G171: Flash-curing Device for Light-Curing

NK-Optik Otoflash G171 is equipped with two flash lamps mounted at the bottom that emit light from beneath into the polymerization chamber and operating at a frequency of 10 flashes per second, it is exceptionally well-suited for curing various applications, including otoplasties, hearing aids, and dental appliances and the jewelry production process. The device is versatile, capable of photopolymerizing all light-curable materials that undergo curing within a wavelength range of 280-580 nm.

Similarly, it can be used to post-cure workpieces produced through modern technologies like 3D printing and rapid manufacturing. The Otoflash G171 facilitates the production and treatment of light-curing materials with varying consistencies and pigmentation. It also allows for repairs using compatible materials and lacquering. Due to its technical setup, the Otoflash G171 delivers short curing times. In its operating mode, it generates ten flashes per second with two flashbulbs located at the bottom. The resulting light radiation falls within the wavelength range of 280-580 nm and is highly intense. Compared to other methods, this results in significantly improved curing of materials, leading to excellent physical properties and reduced residual monomer content, specifically the inhibition layer. The Otoflash G171 is available with an optional protective gas apparatus (N2) that prevents oxygen inhibition. This ensures complete non-stick curing of surfaces, eliminating the need to remove or wipe away the inhibition layer. Furthermore, the device is user-friendly, featuring an integrated elapsed time meter and easy maintenance. It can be adjusted to different operational voltages (e.g., 117 volt/60 Hz in the USA and 100 volt/60 Hz in Japan).
